🥛 Creamy Milk Cake Recipe (Baked Milk Pudding / Sütlü Tatlı)
Ingredients:
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup melted butter (unsalted)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
For Topping (Optional):
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Drizzle of sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: to 180°C (350°F). Grease a medium-sized baking dish with butter.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients: Gradually add flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until no lumps remain.
- Add milk: Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously to create a smooth, thin batter.
- Bake: Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & serve: Let it cool to room temperature, then chill for at least 1–2 hours before slicing.
- Garnish: Dust with powdered sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, or drizzle condensed milk before serving.
