Sizzling Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Spaghetti

🥩 Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites

  • 500 g (1 lb) sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into bite-size cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

For the Creamy Spaghetti

  • 250 g (8 oz) spaghetti pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional, but recommended)
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water

🍝 Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Spaghetti

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add spaghetti pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
  3. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Spaghetti Sauce

  1. In a large pan over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Add salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti and a splash of reserved pasta water.
  7. Toss until the spaghetti is fully coated in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
  8. Remove from heat and keep warm.

Step 3: Sear the Steak Bites

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over high heat.
  4. Add steak bites in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
  5. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and juicy.

Step 4: Garlic Butter Finish

  1. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  2. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
  3. Stir steak bites in the sizzling garlic butter for 30–60 seconds.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and remove from heat.

  • Spoon extra garlic butter sauce over the top
