Homemade Meatballs

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
Gravy
Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

In a skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until golden brown.
Gradually whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine
Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the skillet with the gravy.
Simmer for a few minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve
Serve the meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice. Enjoy your homemade dish!
